Hello, I'm Kathy and I started wire wrapping in 2015 because I wanted to wear one of my amethysts that I had tumbled. I've loved crystals for a long time and my interest in their spiritual meanings went well with my interest in the metaphysical and the mind | body | spirit connection.
My jewelry is inspired mostly by textured, ornate designs in a classic wire wrap style that I antique by hand to create an old world, vintage look. I use crystals and stones that are colorful as well as rustic and earthy.
I've got a hubby, two adult kids and three cats - Maxine, Mali and Mitchell. All have nicknames like crazy and they are always in my studio trying to sit on my workspace! I love it though. They are hysterical and they make me so happy!
